Viewbug.com Recommends My Photo in “Behind The Lens” I’m still trying to wrap it around my head that I’m a photographer. I’m more familiar with video, since it was one of the subjects I studied while in school, but I digress. The photo is from the 2015 fireworks competition in Vancouver. One of the editors from Viewbug liked the photo and thought it was worthy to find out how I took the shot. I think I’m taking better photos now, but that particular photo resonated with viewers. It’s not award winning photography, but this encourages me to strive harder to […]
Climbing with New Friends I went wall climbing with some new friends I made a few months ago. We met at a picnic and our common bond is that among the partners, the guys have Parkinson’s Disease. We’re all fairly young, found out we have this illness at different ages, but we’re doing what we can to remain positive. First of all I want to think of my friends I made as just that, friends. I know there’s terms out there for us YOPDers (Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease), PWP (Person With Parkinson’s), and Parkies, but my friends are more than […]
It’s only Day 2. Yes, I will make a better effort to get this done in the morning. What happened today…very productive meeting with M. Praised our director M. Worked with G. on content development. Also did some editing on J.’s script. What I want to do tomorrow is organize my schedule…got to get more done in less time.
Today is my day 1 to refresh every aspect to my life. Taking small achievable steps first by just writing this entry into my site’s blog. Got tons of ideas, but getting this done is my first goal.
The most awesome big cat I’ve seen in person with my own eyes. Look at that face! Isn’t that a state of bliss?
A recent trip to Oregon proved to be relaxing, energetic and adventurous. The relaxing part was enjoying the view from Mt. Hood. It was also an adventurous time too, as I attempted the frog pose, the one difficult balancing yoga pose I know, on several rocks at an altitude of over 7000 feet. My friend took pictures of me in various states and I particularly liked this one, which looks like I’m facing down a steep embankment. I forgot how quiet nature could be since even in the quietest moments in the city, you still can hear or feel a […]
It’s the end of March and it’s still quite cold. Still, I am trying to make the most of it. Went for a walk in the rain, and ended up with some photos.
Earlier on March 26, 2012 I was finally approved of using the UN logo in support of 2012 designated as the International Year of Cooperatives. I will be writing a few articles on in cooperatives I find interesting. Stay tuned for more…
